Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to all registered users of “Joseph Thurner - imagecreator”. By registering, you give your legally binding consent to these Terms.

Amendments

“Joseph Thurner - imagecreator” reserves the right to update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the website; registered users will additionally be notified by e-mail, unless they have opted out of such notifications in their personal settings. Changes are deemed accepted if no objection is raised within 14 days of the announcement.

Minimum Age

Use of “Joseph Thurner - imagecreator” requires a minimum age of 14 years (§ 4 para. 4 DSG). Persons below this age may only use “Joseph Thurner - imagecreator” with the express consent of their legal guardians.

Rules of Conduct

Users undertake not to publish any content that is unlawful, offensive, threatening, defamatory, racist, or otherwise discriminatory; that infringes the copyright or other intellectual property rights of third parties; that constitutes advertising or spam; or that violates the privacy of others. Published content must be correct to the best of the user’s knowledge; users bear sole responsibility for content they create.

Uploaded Images and Copyright

Users who upload images declare that they hold the necessary copyright and usage rights for those images, or that the use is otherwise permitted (e.g. by licence or statutory exception). Responsibility for any rights infringement caused by uploaded content lies solely with the uploader. “Joseph Thurner - imagecreator” is not obliged to review uploaded content for rights infringements, but will remove infringing content once it becomes aware of the violation.

Sanctions

In the event of a breach of these Terms, “Joseph Thurner - imagecreator” reserves the right to remove content, temporarily suspend accounts, or delete them permanently. In the case of serious breaches — in particular where criminal offences are indicated — the competent authorities will be informed.

Liability

“Joseph Thurner - imagecreator” takes appropriate technical and organisational security measures to prevent data loss, misuse, or unauthorised access. Your data are transmitted via SSL/TLS encryption. No liability can be accepted for security incidents that occur despite these measures as a result of third-party interference.
